NOTA: El rubro "Otros" del crédito otorgado por los bancos al sector privado incluye acciones y participaciones, operaciones de reporto, portafolio de terceros, aceptaciones bancarias y acciones y participaciones temporales. A partir del 27 de enero de 1999, con la reforma al Catálogo Unico de Cuentas, mediante resolución No SB-99-0121, se apertura las operaciones de reporto del sistema financiero con el sector privado, las instituciones del sector público no financiero, el BCE y las instituciones del sistema financiero, lo que permite incluir en el rubro "Otros" exclusivamente el saldo correspondiente a operaciones de reporto con el sector privado. Sin embargo, para períodos anteriores los balances de los bancos privados, fuente de información, no tienen la misma apertura por lo que no es posible identificar las operaciones de reporto con el sector privado, por lo que la serie incluye los repos con el BCE. |
